Imagine If All Young People Voted: #WeRiseWeVote

#WeRiseWeVote Launches

Between the 2016 election and this year's, more than 4,000,000 young people turn 18. The generations under 35 today are progressive, diverse, educated and focused on equality. There is only one problem: young people vote at a lower rate than any other age group.

Millennials and younger are about to surpass Baby Boomers as the largest group at voting age in America. If we all voted, imagine the change we could create.

Enter #WeRiseWeVote, a campaign by young people for young people, to encourage voter participation in the 2018 midterms. This peer-to-peer campaign will launch with a video from Xiuhtezcatl Martinez speaking out about his excitement about voting for the first time. Following that, other youth leaders and celebs will share their own videos and memes about why they are excited to vote in 2018.
