An Earth Guardian doesn’t just check boxes - we create seats at the table and put power into the hands of those inheriting the world we are trying to create - our youth. We are a unique environmental nonprofit because 90% of our staff are Black and Indigenous youth, ages 23-30. We believe youth deserve to be heard about how they envision the outcome of their futures.

Youth worldwide share a deep understanding of Earth’s degradation and provide fresh perspectives for discovering effective solutions to solving the climate crisis. What we do now decides the fate of our youths’ futures. We want to ensure they have the resources to thrive and not just survive which is why we do what we do.

At Earth Guardians, we cultivate an intergenerational approach to activism by empowering youth ages 16-30 in leading campaigns in their communities and encouraging them to have volunteers from ages 6+, along with the support and guidance of elders. By working together, we gain diverse skills, knowledge, and experience that help us find effective solutions to the climate crisis.
