Marian Meija
As a woman of color born and raised in the Bay Area, I have garnered unique perspectives on the world. I’m a graduating first generation college student studying Geography, Environment, and Planning with an emphasis in Society, Environment, and Development. My work and passion is not only driven by the degradation of our planet, but the need for justice and representation for marginalized communities in our modern environmental movements. I’m here to use my privilege to advocate and encourage the voices that are not often heard or sought out for, in order to help foster equitable, sustainable, and compassionate communities. By challenging and controlling my own narrative, I hope it inspires others to do the same and take action.
