Teena Pugliese is a filmmaker, performance artist and digital activist currently focused on land stewardship and developing deep community with people, place & planet. Her work spans from documentary features & short form satires to improvised narrative & scripted films; with a focus on civic engagement through storytelling and film/performance as a pathway towards healing. She is passionate about intergenerational bridge building, supporting connections between youth and elders and loves her work as a youth media trainer & mentor, creating spaces to listen and share stories while exploring how to reclaim control of our own narratives. She was inspired and mentored by the late Myron Dewey while creating content for Digital Smoke Signals, where she learned how to support stories told through indigenous eyes. She has a BA in theatre performance & directing with much "on the job training and experience" over the past 25 years and feels spirit full when singing and living truth fully on any stage of life. She is committed to and grateful for collaborations with all beings who work towards restoring our relations with each other and our Mother Earth. She believes that listening, empathy and imagination are key to unlocking what is ours to do in the world and believes education is not about putting information into the other but drawing out the unique wisdom we each carry. Joseph Brophy Toledo has served the Pueblo of Jemez in various capacities for over 4 decades. He has worked with numerous indigenous youth groups, his is an adjunct instructor for IAIA, he has worked for as a creative consultant for Robert Mirabal Productions, he has served on the Native American Global Sports Committee, and has been instrumental in various international indigenous projects such as Pueblo Pathways Project and he has traveled to Mexico, Canada and Africa as a First Nations representative for Earth healing and environmental conferences and efforts.

Lyla June is an Indigenous musician, scholar and community organizer of Diné (Navajo), Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne) and European lineages. Her dynamic, multi-genre presentation style has engaged audiences across the globe towards personal, collective and ecological healing. She blends studies in Human Ecology at Stanford, graduate work in Indigenous Pedagogy, and the traditional worldview she grew up with to inform her music, perspectives and solutions. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree, focusing on Indigenous food systems revitalization.

Orion Camero is a queer Filipinx multimedia artist, storytelling educator, coalition-builder, and community organizer with experience ranging from protecting the California Delta waterways from corporate water privatization to global advocacy at the United Nations against the climate crisis. Orion is inspired by epic stories with ensemble casts, the fields of spiritual ecology and emergent strategy, and interdisciplinary thinking. Their work reimagines the world around us by illustrating oppression and liberation, through image and song.

Raine is a permaculture designer, teacher, animal and plant enthusiast and an avid environmental and social justice activist and land protector. They are passionate about food and water security, cute goats, and spending all their time outside. Raine runs their own Permaculture Design Company called RainDrop Designs and loves helping to transform land and city spaces to support community, regeneration, and the health of the biosphere.

Vic Barrett is fighting hard for a future for all of us. Barrett witnessed the reality of climate change firsthand, as he was among the many impacted by the climate change fueled superstorm Hurricane Sandy in 2012, which left his family and school without power.

Barrett became involved in activism in high school as a member of Global Kids, an organization that focuses on developing leadership skills for youth. Barrett then became a Fellow with the Alliance for Climate Education and spoke at the COP21 UN Conference on Climate Change in Paris in 2015, at the age of 15. Barrett was among 400,000 participants in the People’s Climate March in NYC and delivered a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in support of sustainable development goals.

With all of these achievements under his belt before age 18, Barrett has his eyes set on his biggest target to date: The federal government. Barrett is one of 21 youth activists between the ages of 10 and 21 suing the government to take action on climate change in Juliana Vs. United States. The lawsuit states that the government has violated youth rights by allowing activities harmful to the climate and asks the federal government to enact progressive changes to current carbon dioxide emissions. Barrett understands that his generation will be impacted by the policies and decisions of older generations refusing to combat climate change, and that we must make meaningful changes towards a sustainable environment. Most recently Vic spoke at the NYC Climate Strike and told a crowd of at least 100,000 why climate justice needs to be highlighted, centering black, brown, and indigenous voices.

Vic has spoken at the American Museum of Natural History, the Brooklyn Museum, the United Nations, Friends Seminary, Yale University, Boston College, University of Wisconsin, Madison, on the Generator Series w/ Ilana Glazer, as well as keynoting at the Wired25 and Planet Home conferences in San Francisco. He has also presented before the House Foreign Affairs Committee in Washington, D.C.
